The Blue Note Grill is one of the Triangle's (Raleigh, Durham & Chapel Hill) premier live-music venues, complete with a full-service BBQ and Ribs restaurant and bar. The original Blue Note Grill opened in a non-descript strip mall in 2010 on the outskirts of Durham. Their musical reputation and Southern-style menu soon packed the house, as they quickly outgrew the tiny end space. In June of 2015, the Blue Note Grill opened and expanded in to a new 6,000 sq ft space in the downtown Durham historic Central Park District.************************************
Navigating Life's Next Chapter
Holy Infant Narthex
Thursday, November 19th
1:00-2:30 pm
Evelyn Hrehor from Stepping Stones Real Estate will convene a panel of professionals that focus on helping seniors and their families navigate life's next chapter - senior living advisors, elder law attorneys, and home care providers. They will address downsizing, transitioning into a senior living community, relocating closer to children and grandchildren, or finding a one-level home in a 55+ community.
One of the things I'm most passionate about is encouraging families to plan ahead rather than waiting until they're faced with a crisis. So many people simply don't know what resources are available or where to begin. My goal is to help educate seniors and their families, connect them with the right people, and give them the information they need to make thoughtful, informed decisions.

11:30 AM- guided tour of the exhibit followed by lunch in the Nasher Cafe
Carpool from Holy Infant at 10:45 AM
In 1820, Secretary of State John Quincy Adams commissioned William Stone to engrave an official replica of the document. Two hundred copies of the “Stone Declaration” were printed and distributed to government repositories, significant officeholders, and the few surviving signers of the Declaration. Fewer than 40 Stone Declarations are known to survive today, and one is in Durham.
After two hundred and fifty years, the Declaration’s radical vision continues to resonate, even if its claims of liberty and equality remain unfulfilled. Presented alongside exhibitions that critically examine the complexities and contradictions of the American past, these documents offer an opportunity for renewed scrutiny. Understood in this broader context, they reveal the United States as an aspirational yet unfinished democratic experiment, one whose founding ideals remain as urgent as ever.
